Mentify Prep Terms of Service
Terms governing course-anchored syllabus revision, credit subscriptions, practice variants, and document uploads.
1. Purpose & Academic Integrity
Mentify Prep is designed as an academic revision workspace to assist students in preparing for Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) and final examinations. Materials, derivations, and practice questions provided on this platform are study aids intended to reinforce curriculum mastery. Users agree to use all solutions, proofs, and study packs ethically and in full compliance with academic integrity standards.
2. Credit Wallet, Trials & Subscription Tiers
Access to automated problem solving, question variant synthesis, and document ingestion is powered by your Mentify Prep credit wallet:
- Free 100-Credit Trial: New accounts receive 100 complimentary starter credits valid for 7 days, unlocking full access to all features (including complete syllabus notes, step-by-step proofs, and up to 10 document/image uploads). If starter credits are exhausted during the trial, the wallet immediately moves to the Free Plan.
- Freemium Tier: After trial completion, accounts automatically receive permanent Free Plan access granting 20 free credits every 30 days, unlimited reading of cached syllabus notes and past exams, and pay-as-you-go top-up access.
- Monthly Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions (Basic, Plus, and Pro) provide 30-day recurring credit allocations, higher monthly PDF/image upload allowances, and priority queues. Payments are processed securely via M-Pesa / Paystack.
- Credit Independence & Top-Ups: All registered students on any tier (including Freemium) may purchase custom 30-day credit top-ups starting from 10 credits at KES 1.50 per credit via M-Pesa.
- Transparent Consumption Deductions: Credits are deducted according to the published Credit Consumption Rules. Cached past questions and notes are free once indexed; newly generated unindexed topic modules may incur a one-time course-share contribution. AI Tutor inquiries scale dynamically starting from 1 credit depending on response length and model tokens.
3. Uploading Materials & Syllabus Documents
Students and tutors may upload course outlines, lecture notes, revision sheets, and past examination papers. By uploading files, you represent that you have lawful authorization to access and study the material. Uploaded materials enter a verification pipeline where text is extracted and reviewed for curriculum alignment before being indexed into the course catalogue.
4. Intellectual Property & Study Packs
Original course syllabi and institutional examination papers remain the property of their respective creators and institutions. You may download complete PDF and Word study packs for your personal, non-commercial revision. Re-selling, mass scraping, or distributing platform-generated solutions commercially is strictly prohibited.
5. Account Security & Fair Use
Each Mentify Prep account is for individual student use. Sharing accounts to circumvent credit limits, deploying automated scraping bots, or attempting to exploit wallet balances will result in immediate suspension.
