When you study on Mentify Prep, we collect only the essential academic data required to power your personalized revision:
- Course Enrollments: The syllabus units and courses you add to your workspace dashboard.
- Uploaded Revision Materials: PDF notes, document outlines, and scanned past paper files you submit for indexing.
- Generated Study Outputs: Practice question variants, step-by-step mathematical proofs, and study pack export history.
- Wallet & Payment Data: Credit balances, transaction audit logs, and Paystack / M-Pesa transaction reference codes. We never store payment PINs or sensitive financial credentials.
2. Strict AI Privacy Guarantees
Your uploaded documents, personalized test questions, and mathematical solution requests are used strictly to provide you with instant study assistance. We do not sell, rent, or use your private study uploads to train public foundation AI models.
3. How Uploaded Documents Are Processed
When you upload a document, text and mathematical formulas are extracted locally using high-precision parsers or vision OCR. Once extracted, content is mapped to the relevant course topics and verified for academic quality before publication.
4. Data Security & Storage
We use encrypted storage and secure tokenized authentication to safeguard your workspace. All wallet operations and credit deductions are tracked in an immutable audit ledger accessible directly on your workspace dashboard.
5. Your Rights & Data Control
You maintain full control over your enrolled courses and personal uploads. You may remove enrolled courses from your dashboard or request permanent deletion of your uploaded documents at any time.
